The latest generation of immunoglobulin E (IgE) allergy tests can detect over 150 allergens, including immediate food allergies, animal and plant allergens, etc. Due to its small reaction area, it can accurately test serum with total IgE levels up to 45,000 IU/ml. Multiplex detection improves binding with non-specific IgE by reducing the surface area of the test reaction. Furthermore, the amount of allergen required for testing is significantly reduced, thus lowering testing costs.
IgE Allergy Testing Procedure
The IgE allergy test requires only 3-5 ml of blood, testing serum samples up to 45,000 IU/ml, and the report is completed in approximately 14-20 business days.
