I always thought that health check-ups were something only older people needed, and that they were not important to me, a young and strong person. It wasn't until I completed the entire check-up this time that I realized I wasn't as healthy as I thought.
I was originally considering whether to share the results of this physical examination with everyone (after all, it's a very personal matter), but after thinking about it... I think I should. Just as a reminder to everyone to pay attention to their health, whether you are older readers or younger people like me, you may also have the same situation without realizing it.
I don't have many problems, like a high body fat percentage (laughs XD) and low lung capacity, which I already knew, so I won't go into detail. More exercise will bring me back to normal. What I least expected were high cholesterol and excessive stomach acid.
Both of these are related to dietary habits, which shows that the saying "illness enters through the mouth" is referring to me.
In fact, many urban dwellers have similar problems, especially busy Hong Kongers who work all day long and forget to take good care of their bodies. If someone like me, who doesn't smoke, drink, or stay up late, has health problems, what about other people with even less healthy lifestyles? I used to think, "I'm only in my twenties, what could possibly happen to me?" But after having a proper medical check-up, I realized that age doesn't represent health; lifestyle habits and regular health check-ups are what really matter.
To be able to travel freely in the future, let's strive to develop a healthy body!
